We hit Southport model village which I've been meaning to visit for years. Then we went up to Formby Point, and well as seeing a cool beach we got buzzed by a couple of Jet Provosts in formation, which are rare to see these days. Then finally we stopped by a microlight airfield on the way back. The winner though, was this rather weird wind/sand break that we saw at Formby Point. It's very well constructed and looked to me like some kind of demented bubble chamber. It certainly caught my eye anyway! There are SO many photos I could have chosen from today.
