It was one of those days when it was too nice to stay in but too hot to go out. We ended up lathering up in sun lotion and heading out to Formby for a nice shady walk in the woods hunting red squirrels. Unfortunately Formby also has a great stretch of beach, and it seemed that half of the population of the northern hemisphere had already headed there. We got to within a mile and then spun round and headed back. Still a nice drive though. :) We got back to find that Sue had been busy in the side garden making it pretty again. This is the water feature tucked in the corner, and it's got an interesting light in one of the bowls.
