Keywords: I have acquired a small batch of film negatives (ca 70) with a very distinctive format. Judging from clues in variousimages they are rather earlier than I had originally thought - probably late 1890s and turn of the century. They are amateur 'snapshots' taken in Spain, the Netherlands and the Middle East. The size is approximately 8cm x 8cm and has been identified as being characteristic of a Frena No. 1 camera.
