I refer to the attached photo in relation to the Train works on 28/05/2016 on the Pakenham train line. This have happened on numerous occasions at Huntingdale and Caulfield Train Station where there are a lack of signage directing passengers to the location of the replacement buses at each intersection of the train station. For instance, coming down the ramp at Caulfield Train station leading into the intersection in the underground tunnel, passengers are unsure if they should turn right or turn left to the location of the replacement buses. There wasn’t any train’s staff manned at those intersections either. There were tremendous chaos at the bus stop where people are close to stomping at the few staff repeating the same answer to each person where is the bus heading (stopping all stations or direct). Clear signs and better coordination would be helpful. On a separate note at Huntingdale train station, there wasn’t any sign in the morning at the intersection in the underground tunnel and the ramp telling people that trains are not in service (see time stamped photo). Without any sign or staff, people have wasted their time waiting at the platform where trains would not have arrive. I humbly implore you to use the powers vested in you to spare 2 minutes to delegate this feedback to your assistant to implement clear signs throughout the train stations for the numerous train works in the future.
