Upon officers arrival it was determined that two males were fighting and one of the males suffered a severe laceration to his forearm, further investigation revealed a second male had also suffered a knife wound to his elbow. The male with the severe arm laceration was transported directly to Albany Medical Center for treatment of his injury and the second male was transported to St. Mary’s Hospital for treatment of his stab wound. Neither party was able to be interviewed extensively because of their injuries and subsequent treatment. A cursory search of the area resulted in the discovery of a large machete, which was secreted in a bush, near the location of the fight.
