| Keywords: Vacate shop space to bring in new tenants at #TheArcadeMallSingapore for additional revenue and management bonus Noticed this shop: "Repair Squad" at Clifford Centre / The Arcade (Raffles Place MRT) There are several small shops around this level that sells handphones which shows that there is a market for this trade. Noticed that there are 3 staff at the Repair Squad who seems quite free as there are no customers during peak period (lunch time). Compared to the other shops, there are customers at each handphone shop making enquires, selling handphones and buying handphones. "Repair Squad" offers repair services and buy / sell / trade of laptops. Would it benefit the owner of "Repair Squad" to offer buy/sell/trade in of handphones in addition to their repair of handphones service? Repair Squad has technical staff on hand to provide the valuation of the handphones. The shop is located at the level of the mall where potential handphone buyers / sellers would frequent. The staff would also be better utilized to service laptops but bring in more business through sales and purchase of handphones. All it cost is to place a sign that you would sell / purchase handphones. OR the owner could rent out the empty front store space to an experienced handphone retailer (competitor). The handphone retailer could pay less rent compared to renting an entire stall space. #RepairSquadSingapore would have someone to share the rent and to gain a percentage of the business profits. The building management could rent out the handphone retailer's bigger stall space to someone else. This would create additional income to the system through the introduction of the new tenant. Win-Win-Win for building management, #RepairSquadSingapore and #HandphoneRetailer with proper shop space management. I hope this feedback would influence the viewpoint of the owner and create a value adding service (customers would trust an actual retail shop much more compared to a small stall - Reminds me of how i got con in paying an overprice Ipad at Sim Lim Towers/Square.
