Delagoa Bay is inthe district which has long beenthe subject of dispute with England, Portu-gal and the Republic of the Transvaal.About twenty years ago the dispute wassubmitted to the arbitration of the Presidentof the French Republic, who gave judg-ment in favor of Portugal.
