It's time to break into them and I thought I'd share. I'm opening with one I haven't tried before, a Fazer Fami. It's described as a chocolate bar with hazelnut truffle filling, and was introduced by Fazer in 1968, before being pulled from the market in 1986. Due to overwhelming popular demand it was reintroduced in 2007. I can see why - it's gorgeous. It's a about the size of a Topic, but maybe half to a third the height, making it fairly small. It weighs in at 32g. Opening it up shows a dark chocolate outer layer, which on the bite is quite thin but well flavoured. The filling is very, very smooth with occasional small crispy bits that might be biscuit or puffed rice. It's best described as a giant version of the hazelnut truffle in a box of Black Magic. One thing is for sure. It didn't last long. :) As you may recall, Sanni sent me a gorgeous big box of chocolates and sweets for Christmas. It's time to break into them and I thought I'd share.
