<br> 50 cents per dozen <br> Double Roman ”Clusters of white flowers with double cit- <br> ron-colored cups It is very early and grown principally and <br> largely for forcing 4 cents each; 40 cents per dozen <br> The Chinese Sacred <br> or Oriental Narcissus <br> A Variety of Polyanthus Narcissus <br> The Shui Sin Far or Water Fairy <br> Flower Joss Flower or Flower of the Gods <br> etc as it is called by the Celestials is a <br> variety of Narcissus bearing in lavish <br> profusion chaste flowers of silvery white <br> with golden yellow cups They are of ex- <br> quisite beauty and entrancing perfume It <br> lsgrown by the Chinese according to their <br> ancient custom to herald the advent of <br> their new year and as a symbol of good <br> luck The bulbs are grown by a method <br> known only to themselves whereby they <br> attain great size and vitality insuring lux- <br> urious growth and immense spikes of flow- <br> ers In fact the incredibly short time re- <br> quired to bring the bulbs into bloom four <br> to six weeks alter planting is one of the <br> wonders of nature You can almost see <br> them grow succeedingalmost everywhere <br> and with everybody Theydowelfin pots <br> of earth but are more novel and beautiful <br> grown in shallow bowls of water with <br> enough fancy pebbles to prevent them from <br> toppling over when in bloom A dozen <br> bulbs started at intervals will give a succes- <br> sion of flowers throughout the Winter I <br> am importing direct from China immense <br> bulbs of the true large-flowering variety <br> 15 cents each; four for 50 cents <br> GIANT GOLDEN SACRED LILY <br> The flowers of this beautiful Sacred Lily <br> are almost identical with the Chinese va- <br> riety except that they are of the most love- <br> ly shade of deep golden yellow making a <br> fine contrast with the white bloom of that <br> noted kind The bulbs are not nearly so <br> large but the trusses of flowers are of good <br> size making thisa charming bulb for house <br> culture Grows in water like the old va- <br> riety Try a dozen and be delighted 3 <br> cents each; six for 15 cents; 25 cents <br> per dozen <br> JONQUILS <br> Much prized for their charming large golden and <br> deliciously sweet scented flowers perfectly hardy and <br> flowering very early in the Spring;
