Waterford, here are the same men practising with artillery at the Battery beside Doneraile Walk (thanks to guliolopez and ofarrl for help with locating this photo). We were looking for input from large gun experts - make, model, era... And thanks to David Alan Moore for letting us know that this is a "4inch or 5inch Breech Loading (probably the latter) on a ship's pattern Vavasseur broadside mounting. 1890s onwards."
